What is X-Pac Fabric?

What is X-Pac Fabric?

X-Pac fabric is a multi-layer, laminate fabric that’s lightweight, waterproof, and durable. It also features a patented X-Ply fibre reinforcement, making it ideal for performance gear. 

In fact, the fabric is constructed using sailcloth technology and has many of the components of sailcloth, but re-engineered for bags. Keep in mind that a sailboat’s sail has to withstand immense pressure from the elements, like wind and water, without breaking down.

Why We Use X-Pac Fabric In Our Travel Backpacks

• X-Pac VX21: The most popular X-Pac fabric type, the VX21 features a lower-stretch, waterproof construction with a slightly higher composition of polyester (60% nylon, 40% polyester). It also has 210-denier face fabric, which combines durability with lightweight performance.
